Thursday 20th June (Summer Solstice)

Wild Flower Meadow Walk
6.30pm – till late at Moat Farm, Church Lane, Shadoxhurst (TN26 1LY) – FREE

Join us on Summer Solstice evening, for a walk through the beautiful wild flower meadows of Moat Farm, Kent and watch the sunset on the longest day of the year.

Discover the abundance of flora and fauna that has been lovingly nurtured by owners, Mike & Jan Bax for nearly 40 years.

Through a farming system focussed on conservation and improvement for the Natural World the outcomes truly demonstrate the exceptional potential of the Shadoxhurst Environment.

Parking & Toilet available. Refreshments will be available with a donation to Kent Wildlife Trust.

This is a FREE event, everyone is welcome. Pre-booking will help us gauge our numbers but you can just arrive on the day.

Celebrate Summer Solstice Yoga (includes Campfire Supper)
6.45pm – 9.45pm at Green Farm, Kent (TN26 1LT)  – £35

Friday 21st June

Fish ‘n’ Chips Van
5pm – 6.15pm at Shadoxhurst Village Hall – Car Park (TN26 1HZ)

Every Friday evening Paul and Shelly park at the village hall car park and cook fish and chips from fresh. It provides a valuable focal point for villagers to socialise and chat. The food is good and it can be a good meeting place to put the world to rights. Sometimes it co-incides with our Games & Social Evening which is usually every third Friday.


Saturday 22nd June

Fun Day (with Dog Show from 1pm)
12 noon – 4pm at the Kings Head, Shadoxhurst (Tn26 1LQ)

The lovely staff at our local pub are joining in our midsummer festival celebrations with an afternoon of fun for all ages.

Dogs on leads are also welcome and can enter competitive events at their first ever dog show! There will be a number of events to enter, arrive a little early to sign up.

Bandeoke’ by Mighty Real
7pm till late at the Kings Head, Shadoxhurst

This will be an evening to remember, the pub will be rocking from 7pm till late – ‘Bandeoke’ by Mighty Real. Join us for a fantastic evening of live music and singing. Yes, of course… you get to sing!

Sunday 23rd June

‘Community Hymn Sing’ at Shadoxhurst Methodist Church (TN26 1LS) 10:30am – 11.30am – FREE

The Community Hymn Singing event will take place at the Methodist Church, Church Lane, TN26 1LS from 10.30 to 11.30am. There will be refreshments afterwards. The Church is welcoming all denominations, or indeed no denomination at all and is for all to attend. To request your favourite hymn contact
