We are a youth theatre group, based at Kingsnorth Parish Church, Ashford, affiliated to the Parish Churches of Kingsnorth with Stubbs Cross and Shadoxhurst. We are a non-profit making community group run by a volunteer committee and adult leaders.
Membership is open to youngsters, aged 7 to 21 (inclusive), from all religious denominations and abilities, in the Ashford area.
Our aims are to build the personal confidence of individuals by giving them the opportunity to perform either solely, or as part of a group, to an audience. Additionally we are able to provide an insight into the world of Theatre and to experience the back-stage activities which support productions (e.g. sound, lighting, prop and set construction).
The group was formed in 1999 as a millennium project but has continued since – providing a number of performances each year, to various audiences at differing locations.
